Synopsis
The public-access channel runs a telethon and Giggles pledges money he doesn't have. Backstage is an endless telethon that's been running since 1978 — variety-show purgatory — and then a space opera, because the broadcast reaches aliens. The host, melting under the stage lights, just needs the phones to ring once so he can go home.
